Climbing with a guide on Meteora - APRIL 202
-
Code:D00401T-1
In the heart of Meteora, where the rocks rise like stone cathedrals, one of the most impressive climbing experiences in Europe is born. Mystical sandstone towers pierce the sky, and on their peaks, like perched eagles, stand centuries-old monasteries. Here, nature and history intertwine in a scene that seems unreal.
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Meteora is not just a destination—it is a feeling. Climbing these monumental walls carries a special energy. Every rope, every grip, and every step upward reveals a new perspective on the endless greenery and expanses of Kalambaka, nestled at the foot of the rocky bastions.
There are hundreds of routes here – from smooth, confidence-inspiring lines for beginners to airy and exposed challenges for advanced climbers. Regardless of your level, Meteora will give you that moment of silence in the middle of the wall, when the world remains far below and you are alone with the rock and the horizon.

I have carefully selected the most impressive sectors so that we can experience together the essence of this place – climbing with character, history, and breathtaking views.
Come climb above the valley, feel the rhythm of the rock, and share that pure, primal moment of freedom that only Meteora can give.
Program:
Day 1: Departure from Bulgaria at a time and place agreed in advance with the participants.
Arrival and accommodation at Vrachos campsite, Kastrakia village.
After settling in, we pitch our tents, have a bite to eat, and go climbing.
We start with the Dupiani tower, which rises above the last houses at the end of the village of Kastraki and is the most popular climbing rock in Meteora thanks to its easy and quick approach. In addition, the rock is of good quality and looks and feels stronger than most towers. Here you will find several well-equipped easier routes.

9:00 a.m. – Meeting point at Vrachos campsite, Kastrakis village.
