The Demir Kapija Canyon is the largest climbing site in North Macedonia, with a rich variety of sport, trad, and multi-pitch routes. Access is easy, the views are beautiful, the people are friendly, and the local food is extremely delicious. 

The wide range of route difficulty categories, between 4a and 8c, makes the site extremely suitable for climbers of all abilities and levels of fitness, and the choice between sport, trad, and multi-pitch routes means there is something to suit all preferences.

Program:

 

Day 1 (April 30, 2026): Departure from Bulgaria at a time and place agreed upon in advance with the participants, arrival in Demir Kapia, and check-in.

After settling in at Rock Land Camp, we will pitch our tents, have something to eat, and discuss the plan for the coming days against the backdrop of a quiet evening.

A light warm-up with a gradual increase in difficulty will give us the opportunity to get to know our abilities and adapt to the conditions of the site.


Day 2÷3 (May 1-2, 2026):

8:00 a.m. – Breakfast

9:00 a.m. – Climbing various routes in a selected sector, and there is a lot of variety here. With years of experience in the area, your guide will offer you different options for multi-pitch, sport, and sport-trad routes.


Day 4 (May 3, 2026):

8:00 a.m. – Breakfast

9:00 a.m. – Today we will quickly tackle several sport routes or one of the multi-pitch routes in a sector selected the previous day. 

In the early afternoon, we will have lunch, pack our bags, and depart for Bulgaria.

 

Prices:

Individual price: 1000 Euro.
For two: 700 Euro/person.

Note:

- Prices include: guide and general equipment for the connection

- The price does not include: transport, insurance, food and drinks, personal equipment (seat, espadrilles, magnesium bag, personal safety equipment), camping equipment.

- The program is subject to change depending on weather conditions.

 

Conditions for participation:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must not have any health problems related to rock climbing and the resulting physical strain.
- Extreme insurance for the duration of the program (participants without insurance will not be admitted!).

- You must be able to use climbing equipment (tie knots, belay a partner, belay yourself).

- It is recommended that each participant have a personal first aid kit.
