Guided Climbing on Demir Kapija, Macedonia

The Demir Kapija Canyon is the largest climbing site in Northern Macedonia, with a wide variety of sport, trad and multi-pitch routes. The access is easy, the views are beautiful, the people friendly and the local food extremely tasty.

The wide range of route difficulty categories, between 4a and 8c, makes the site extremely suitable for climbers of all abilities and ability levels, and the choice of sport, trad and multi-pitch routes allows for all
preferences to be catered for.

Program:

Day 1: Departure from Bulgaria, at a time and place pre-arranged with the participants, arrival in Demir Kapija and accommodation.
After checking in at Rock Land Camp, pitching our tents, grabbing a bite to eat and going
climbing.
A light warm-up with graded increases in categories will give us a chance to explore our options and adapt to the site conditions.

Day 2:
8:00 am - Breakfast
9:00 am. - Climbing a variety of routes on a selected sector, and the variety here is great.
Having gained experience over the years in the area your guide will offer you different options for multipitch and sport-trail routes.

Day 3:
8:00 am - Breakfast
9:00 am - Today we will quickly attack a few sport or one of the multipitch routes on a sector chosen the day before.
In the early afternoon we will eat, pack our bags and depart for Bulgaria.

Prices
Individual price: 1 400 lv.
800 BGN per person.

Note:
- Prices include: guide and general gear for the trip
- Prices do not include: transportation, insurance, food and beverages, personal gear (seat, espadrilles, magnesium pouch, personal insurance), bivy gear.
- The programme is subject to change according to weather conditions.

Conditions for participation:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Have no health problems related to the specifics of rock climbing and the resulting stresses.
- Extreme insurance for the days of the program (Participants without insurance are not allowed!)

- Skills in handling climbing equipment (tying knots, securing a partner, self-belaying).
- It is recommended that each participant has a personal first aid kit.
