The people behind Dopamine Team
Lately, more and more people who want to join our kayaking adventures have been asking us who we are and what experience we have behind Dopamine Team. He is also a member of the Mountains and People Association and the Alpine Guides Association.
We are Grigor Vutev and Ivaylo Vendov – two friends with different professional backgrounds but a shared passion for movement, nature, and adventure. What unites us is the desire to share this way of life and create experiences of real value.
Grigor Vutev
Grigor is a mountaineer with many years of experience and a certified mountain and alpine guide. He has passed the Sea Kayak Award assessment and is a member of the BCU (British Canoe Union).
He is a national and vice-republican mountaineering champion, a prize winner in summer and winter republican mountaineering competitions, and the recipient of numerous international awards. He is currently a student at the National Sports Academy and holds a bachelor's degree in business management.
Grigor is also the co-founder of GripMonkeys, an entirely Bulgarian brand that manufactures training equipment for mountaineers and climbers.
He has been leading kayaking groups since 2018, initially as a guide and instructor at Kayak Zone, and since 2022, he has been a co-founder of Dopamine Team.
Ivaylo Vendov
Ivaylo has a degree in engineering and economics and more than 20 years of entrepreneurial experience in the production of automotive electronics. He is the creator and driving force behind the FOBOS brand gas injection system for gasoline cars, which has been successfully established on both the Bulgarian and a number of international markets. In addition to developing and manufacturing systems, Ivaylo actively imports and distributes a full range of components for gas installations.
Over the years, his professional focus has expanded to include smart home systems, where he applies the same engineering approach—reliability, functionality, and real practical benefits. Working in this field deepens his understanding of automation, systems integration, and complex process management—skills that find direct application in the organization of kayaking adventures.
At the same time, Ivaylo is involved in the import and trade of kayaks and water sports equipment, selecting products of proven quality. This experience has given him in-depth knowledge of the equipment – from the construction of the boats to their behaviour in the water, as well as the accessories that make the experience safer and more effective.
Kayaking, mountain hiking, and cycling have been his lifelong passions. He discovered sea kayaking in 2010, and since 2017, he has been organizing and leading kayaking groups in Greece. In 2022, he co-founded Dopamine Team, where his engineering experience, entrepreneurial mindset, and love of movement come together to create a stable, safe, and consistent adventure environment.
Our mission
Our mission is to provide the best possible user experience in sea kayaking.
We invest in new, safe, and high-end kayaking equipment and ensure maximum comfort both in the water and on land. For us, the experience does not end with paddling—it includes the organization, atmosphere, and attitude towards each participant.
We both know what it means to explore nature as part of a team. This requires preparation, competence, and uncompromising reliability—the principles on which we built the Dopamine Team.
