We are Grigor and Ivaylo - the people behind Dopamine Team!
Lately we've been getting more and more questions from people who want to join Dopamine Team's kayaking adventures and are curious about who's behind the company and what our experience is like!
We are Grigor Vatev and Ivaylo Vendov - two friends with very different professional paths, and the common thing between us is the passion for adrenaline, love for nature and the desire to share them with more and more new like-minded people for whom we can create unique experiences.
Grigor is a mountaineer with extensive experience as well as a certified mountain and alpine guide. He has passed the Sea Kayak Award assessment, and is a member of the BCU (British Canoe Association). State and vice national mountaineering champion, prize winner in summer and winter national mountaineering championships, winner of many international awards. Currently a student at the National Sports Academy, he also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Co-owner of GripMonkeys, an all-Bulgarian brand of training equipment for mountaineers and climbers.
He has been leading kayak groups since 2018, initially as a guide and instructor at Kayak Zone, and since 2022 as a partner in Dopamine Team.
Ivaylo has a background in engineering and economics and is a successful entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in the automotive electronics industry. Initially producing car alarm systems, since 2006 he has been developing and marketing gas injection systems for petrol cars in this country and in a number of international markets under the brand name FOBOS. It is an importer of components for gas systems.
Kayaking, mountain trekking, cycling as well as extreme sports are his long-time hobbies. He discovered kayaking as a hobby in 2010 and since 2017 he has been organizing and leading kayaking groups in Greece. Since 2022 he has been a partner in Dopamine Team.
Our mission is to provide the best user experience on the market. Our kayaking equipment is new, reliable, safe and of the highest class, plus we guarantee the most comfortable stay at the campsite.
We both know what it means to explore the world's incredible natural beauty by doing it as a team. This requires perfect organisation, competence and reliability without compromise, the very foundations on which we have built our joint business.
