Ice Climbing - Beginner Course

Period: from December to the end of February.
During the course you will acquire knowledge and skills for:
- Specific equipment and gear for ice climbing. Proper use.
- Ice climbing.
- Belaying and self-belaying, climbing in a bind, pitch building, rappelling, unroping.
Duration: 2 days
Programme:
Day 1 (Saturday):
8:00 - 9:00: Lecture "Ice climbing equipment".
9:30-16.30 ч. - 16-16.30 - 16-16.30 - 16-16.30.
Day 2 (Sunday):
8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Demonstration and practice
17:00 ч. - Return to the hut and departure
When participating in the training I provide:
- Instructor(s)
- General equipment for the group
What is required of you:
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- Have previous climbing experience - completed an entry level climbing course
- Have no health problems related to the specifics of climbing and mountaineering and the resulting stresses
- Mountain insurance for the dates of the event
Personal equipment required:
- Alpine saddle, helmet, crampons, ice axes (ice hands), abrasion device, (in the absence of some of the above equipment, please contact us for assistance)
- Backpack
- Thermal underwear - upper and lower
- Warm clothing - fleece jacket type
- Water and windproof jacket, trousers/overalls
- Warm gloves - 2 pairs
- Hat - 2 pcs.
- Winter alpine shoes with hard sole
- Sunglasses / ski mask
- Sun cream
- Water bottle / thermos for hot drink (tea)
- Food according to personal needs
- Headlamp with new/charged batteries
- Mobile phone with charged battery
Participants without insurance are not allowed!

- Boyanski waterfall, Vitosha
Prices:
Individual price: 890 BGN.
For two: BGN 445 per person
400 BGN/person
For four: 332 BGN/person
For five: 332 BGN/person
For six: 332 BGN/person
Price does not include accommodation, meals and transport.
